The iconic Flying Scotsman, the most famous locomotive in the world, has made its long awaited return to York and The National Railway Museum, after a £4.2m restoration. It is back on show at The Museum, with planned excursions across the country, beginning on the picturesque North Yorkshire Moors Railway – the perfect setting in which to see her fly. Unsurprisingly these journeys are all sold out, so you will have to catch up with The Scotsman in York, where you can enjoy its magnificence close up! Find our more at The National Railway Museum or at The Flying Scotsman website. Welcome home Scotsman.
